Feast, celebration and praise
Coursing powers spill from cosmic rays
Sacrifice, a death consecration
Bowing to idols to ward off doom
The young warriors engage in ritual combat
Be pinned or wounded, walk free in shame
The unscathed champion, the pride of the tribe
To appease dark gods, will fall on his knife
The crushed skull moon has risen
Wonder fills their eyes
The sacrifice steps forward
Offering his life
Servants bring oil and tinder
To stoke a roaring blaze
The companion virgins
Are placed upon their knees

To serve eternally
The life drains from his eyes
With a euphoric grin
All placed upon the blaze
The clan shouts words of thanks
The day of doom staved
A blessing upon their grain

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too.
